Introducing Examen Silentii

Examen Silentii now exists. It’s an open journal for one specific kind of work: careful, repeatable tests showing that a piece of scientific software or a public dataset gets something wrong without saying so.

The website, the submission form and the archive are all set up, and the scope and policies are on this site. They’re not final, so if something in them looks wrong or unworkable, I’d like to hear about it before submissions open.

Right now I’m putting together the editorial board and looking for the first reviewers. If you’d be interested in either, or you already have something you’d like to submit, use the Volunteer to review or edit form in the submissions repository.
