Founding Editor

The Founding Editor is responsible for the journal’s direction, policies and day-to-day operation, and appoints the members of the editorial and advisory boards.

Editorial board

Members of the editorial board handle submissions: they check that a submission is in scope, invite reviewers and maintainers, and make decisions based on the reviews. Each submission has one handling editor.

Advisory board

Members of the advisory board advise on the journal’s policies and standards. They do not handle submissions unless they also serve on the editorial board.

Submissions from editors

A submission from any editor is handled entirely by another editor. Until the editorial board includes at least one editor besides the Founding Editor, the journal does not accept submissions from its editors.

Changes to policies

Changes to the journal’s policies are announced on this website and apply to submissions received after the change.
